Internet based Learning for Literature, or I-Learning for
Literature, is one of optional courses in English Literature of English
Department, Diponegoro University. Internet based Literature consists of I-Poetry,
I-Prose and I-Drama. The students will study the basic theories of
I-Literature, such as the scopes, types, media, approaches, methods, and
theories of I-Literature, which is held in the first half of the semester. While
in the second half of the semester, by using the theories got before, the
students will start to study and also to teach English Literature in the internet,
which is in their own blogspot websites. The approaches applied in this
course are Textual (learning the literary works by analyzing the texts), hyper
textual (learning the literary works in the internet by including link or
non-link), and cyber textual (learning the literary works in hyper textual form
but it has interactive tools, for instance, comment section).
